Mr. Musharraf Mahmood Khan is a successful business graduate from IUB and a Certified Public Accountant. He received a certification in Microfinance from “Boulder Institute of Microfinance Turin” (Italy). He holds several other certifications from national and international institutions including JAIBP from IBP and Certificate of Leadership from Frankfurt School of Business. His expertise are Finance, Micro Finance Banking, Budgeting, Digital Banking, Business, Coaching, Transformation & Project Management. His career span is spread over 18 years of enriched experience in MFIs and MFBs. He was members of the core team who transformed MFI into MFB, one of the largest transformations of its kind in the history. He remained associated with National Rural Support Programme at region level and NRSP Microfinance Bank in different senior roles.
Mr Asif Mahmood having more than 10 years’ experience of Finance, Accounts, Audit and Taxation and is member of two prestigious Accountancy bodies, (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, ICAP, and (b) Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA).
Mr Mahmood joined Damen Support Program since May 2015. Currently he is working as Chief Internal Auditor with responsibility to lead overall internal audit function of organization.
From Year 2008- 15 he worked as Manager Finance and Accounts in Enclude Ltd (Formerly Shore bank Int. Ltd, USA based Advisory firm) and was responsible for preparing Financial and Management reports, Project Accounting, Budgets preparation and analysis, Cash flow projections, Tax and Corporate affairs along with reporting and liaison with Head office Washington DC, USA.
From Year 2006-08 he worked as Manager Business Evaluation in Audit Firm Anjum Asim Shahid Rahman, Chartered Accountant (Member Grant Thorton International). He was responsible for preparation and finalization of Business Evaluations Reports for SMEs and Microfinance sector. Further he also completed successfully his 4 years of Practical experience in Audit and consultancy department of same Audit firm.
Mr. Wajid Ali Khan, is a talented individual from a small town, Nowshera KPK. He has a master Degree in Banking and Finance, a Fellow Member of Public Finance Accountants and C.A. Finalist. Mr. Khan has an experience of Twenty years in the field of accountancy and Financial Management in the development sector. At the moment, he is heading the Finance and Administration department of DSP as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Damen Support Programme, Mr. Khan has broadened his horizons by working with some other respected organizations like Welthungerhilfe (a German NGO), Save the Children-Sweden, in Pakistan & Afghanistan & WADAN Afghanistan. His expertise includes, internal controls, liquidity management, business planning / budgeting & reporting.
Mr. Koukab Abbas Haider, holds a Master degree in Information Technology and MBA-Finance from Virtual University and Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. He holds several training certifications from Oracle (Flexcube) & Temenos (T24) of different banking modules. Having fifteen years of diversified experience in the field of Business Analysis, Core banking transformation, Project Management, Data migration & Digitalization of banking Ops. Before Joining Damen he had been associated with The Bank of Khyber, Bank AL Habib Ltd, NRSP Micro Finance Bank Ltd and Techlogix Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd in different managerial positions in IT at Head office level.
Mr. Hassaan Tariq, born in Lahore, holds a graduate degree in Computer Sciences along with diploma and certification in RDBMS and relevant technology tools. Mr. Tariq has excelled in his field and gained more than twenty years of diversified experience by serving in numerous SMEs and NGOs. His proficiency includes deploying and successfully implementing information technology solutions ranging from Desktop to Client/Server solutions. After joining Damen Support Programme in 2007 till date, he is managing the current I.T setup by heading the Information Technology department quite devotedly. His major contribution to DSP was the successful conversion of a distributed database system into the currently operational online-centralized MIS involving three sub-categories (Loan Tracking System (LTS), Financial Information System (FIS) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS)).
Mr. Muhammad Junaid, holds post-graduate degrees of Engineering Geology and Public Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management from University of the Punjab. He has sixteen years’ experience of working in the field of microfinance. He acquires hands on knowledge of Developing growth plans, designing new products, Market research and Risk assessment. He is Effective leader, Good communicator and operation strategist. He excels analytical prudence to streamline operations, increase productivity, and performance monitoring across the portfolio. He is also good in HR planning, Recruitment and Performance management. Before DAMEN He started his career from the Republic Engineering Corporation. Sixteen Years back he joined Damen Support Programme as a Credit Officer, successfully served at different positions and contributed to the growth of DSP from 7 field offices to current position. At present, he is looking after the field operations at program level and working as GM-Operations.
Ms. Riaz attained her Masters in Economics from the University of Punjab in 2002 and achieved a certification in Human Resource Management from Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM). Having more than fifteen years of professional experience in the field of Microfinance, she acquired diverse knowledge and experience consisting of strategic planning, business & product development, credit & financial management, risk & compliance management and Human Resource Management (HRM) with special reference to Micro-finance sector. She started her career in 2001 by joining “KASHF Foundation” as a Branch Manager and was promoted as an Area Manager and in the Risk & Compliance department. Before joining DSP, she worked as Programme Manager in “RCDP”. She joined Damen Support Programme in 2014 as Manager Human & Institutional Development, core objectives of this department are to ensure that personnel are hired, trained, compensated, developed and engaged in most meaningful manners.
Ms. Rukshanda has attended leadership program in 2008, offered by “Women World Banking” in New York, USA and leadership program offered by LUMS, Lahore. She also has international exposure of Bangladesh microfinance institutes Brac, Asa & Grameen.
Ms. Sadia Munir, an individual from Sialkot, holds a post-graduate degree in Public Administration and has ten years of experience in the field of Risk Management. Presently she is holding the position of Manager Risk at Damen Support Programme. Being a Risk Manager, she is actively involved in tasks related to the Risk department such as identifying, measuring, mitigating and communicating risks that DSP is exposed to which includes credit, operational, market, liquidity, interest rate, event, strategic, reputational and any other risk. This department has the leading role in policy, portfolio and standard setting for risk within Damen Support Programme.
Mr. Aziz Malik is a Target-Driven & Result-Oriented Qualified Human Resource Manager & Experienced HR Generalist with excellent expertise spanning over 16 Years in HR Management. Mr. Malik is a business graduate from International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) and Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) from NUST/PIQC. He started the professional journey in 2004 with NRSP – Institute of Rural Management (IRM). Later on, he joined HR Department of Askari Bank Ltd (AKBL). At AKBL, he looked after different HR portfolios. Prior to be the part of DSP fraternity, he was associated with NRSP Microfinance Bank Ltd (NRSP MFBL) as Manager – Training & Development. On April, 2021, he assumed the charge as Senior Manager – HR at Damen Support Programme while undertaking the responsibilities to ensure that staff is hired, trained, compensated, developed and engaged in most meaningful manners.
Mr. Malik is a Certified Master Trainer both from National Institute of Banking & Finance (NIBAF-SBP) as well as from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt, Germany. His area of expertise includes Strategic Human Resource Management, HR Planning, HR Operations Management, Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Staff Separation and Disciplinary matter, Employees Relations and Regulatory Compliance.
Mr. Sarmad Mirza is a Financial Services Professional, having almost twenty years of banking experience, in Commercial, Islamic and Microfinance Banking, this understanding comprehends Commercial Banks and Microfinance Institutions, have operated through all departments of Banking i.e., Operations, Deposits, Trade Services, Lending, Sales and Marketing. Moreover, was member of the pioneer of three banks, started Islamic Banking and a Microfinance Bank, where participated in business planning that covered writing of business plan, research (qualitative and quantitative), product design and development, setting distribution channels, wrote sales, branding and marketing strategies along with facilitating staff on product selling and acquiring customers, including final rollout after piloting the same. Have also completed a consultancy project on Savings Product Development for a Microfinance Bank, as an independent consultant. Also member of consultative group on Branchless Banking Compliance issues, problems and remedies formulated by Central Bank of Pakistan. Highly adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills.
